About Nick

Co-Founder and CEO of Seconds

I see our world full of unlimited possibility during a time of unprecedented change. The path which brought me to this point is unique but not without valuable business lessons.  I’m don’t have an MBA.  I’m not Stanford grad or an ex-Googler.  I’m an entrepreneur and another living tale of how a person can redefine themselves midflight.

Educated as an Exercise Physiologist, I just couldn’t quite shake the feeling technology was the field where I would make my impact.  So almost 10 years ago I became engulfed in learning as much as I could about the web, mobile, e-commerce and social technologies.  Along the way I founded a startup called Loyaltize with a group of friends, launched and operated it the best we could but ultimately failed to achieve product market fit.

After a handful of years of basically 2 careers – my full time job and a startup – I recently cut the cord and made the gut-wrenching entrepreneurial leap. I am now the CEO of Seconds, an emerging mobile web startup looking to redefine how consumers communicate and transact with brands worldwide.

“We believe that people with passion can change the world… for the better.  And it’s those people who are crazy enough to believe they can change the world, actually do” – Steve Jobs

Yes, bold move indeed. I am very happy and I know things will work out. So many doors have already been opened in the last few weeks. I believe everyone should risk it to go pursue their dreams.

Hi Nick: Just read—and chiseled on my forehead —your impactful perspicacity about Instagram founder’s insight to “find the hole and then go do that specific thing? Own that thing. Be known for that thing. And do that one thing world class.”

Thanx for this excellent piece of background & analysis. I now have a “handle” for my efforts to collaborate with GE on a “perpetual fueling device” for GE’s line of Home Generators: “Co-Founding”. Please Google “WO/2009/079260″ for our patent pending.

Best regards & continued good fortune to you…………………
